Hi, I’m Grace Martin!

I am a graduate of Indiana State University, where I earned a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing. My passion for the fine arts began early, rooted in a love for painting and drawing. When choosing a career path, I sought a field that would utilize my artistic abilities and challenge my creativity. This led me to graphic design, where I quickly found my place.

During my time at ISU, I gained valuable hands-on experience working with real clients. In addition to freelance projects, I served as a graphic designer at the Sycamore Innovation Lab. Here, I developed skills in visual solutions for clients while collaborating within a team environment. I also worked as a designer for Sigma Alpha Lambda, creating and organizing materials for philanthropic events.

I am committed to continuing to grow as a designer, bringing thoughtful, creative work to every project while contributing professionally in collaborative environments.

My Approach

I am a graphic designer and artist with a foundation in traditional art. This shapes my approach through conceptual thinking and hands-on exploration. My work focuses on creating visually engaging designs that prioritize clear communication, using composition, texture, color, and form to connect with the intended audience. Across mediums, I aim to balance expression and clarity. Thus, resulting in work that reflects depth, craftsmanship, and a distinct visual voice.
